Here is your chance to pick up a wonderful example of a Panzer Assault Badge in silver. This piece is unmarked on the reverse but features all of the typical characteristics of an Alois Rettenmeier produced badge. Manufactured from zinc and retains most of it’s original silver-wash finish. This particular specimen looks absolutely fantastic on display and has an even patina. The Wehrmacht Tank Battle badge was introduced on December 20, 1939, in order to recognize the achievements of Panzer personnel who took part in armored assaults.  It was designed by Ernst Peekhaus of Berlin, and was instituted by order of Generaloberst von Brauchitsh.   Free shipping ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD & I don’t charge PayPal fees like some of the other guys!
