Maybe not the rarest armband out there but certainly an imposing motif and not to be passed over. This armband was given to civilians and military personnel who were being employed by the state and was worn on the left sleeve of a shirt or uniform. This example is ONLY the eagle portion, and the rest of the armband was cut off and removed, likely by the veteran. Complete with a faint period inkstamp.
