The scabbard leather is in great condition overall being present without any cracking or missing pieces. Nickel fittings on the scabbard and crossguard and pommel of the dagger. Produced by Clemen And Jung as marked on the reverse of the blade with their logo. Upper scabbard fitting is engraved to a hunting group from Hannover and dated 1936. Membership was mandatory for all who possessed a hunting license. The Deutsche Jägerschaft was created through the Reichsjagdgesetz (National Hunting Act) of 1934. Existing hunting societies were disbanded and the membership transferred to the new society. The Deutsche Jägerschaft was led by Hermann Göring, as Reichsjägermeister.
