Here we have a nice Japanese flag. Produced in silk with gold reinforced corners. Nice kanji script painted on. This one is a perfect display size and measures roughly 30-5/16″ long and just over 25-7/8″ wide. The colors are nice and vibrant with only minor soiling. What’s really interesting about this example is the tag which describes where this flag was found. The flag was captured at the Santa Thomas POW camp in the Philippines.
