Here is a very rare civilian pilot visor cap insignia. This example is in great condition overall with nice patina present. Produced in impressive bullion embroidery, with scrapbook remnants on the reverse. A reichsbahn collar tab, 2 US Air Corps insignia, 2 sets of US service stripes, a US rank insignia, and 2 ruptured duck insignias are included with this set as well, as they have the same scrapbook paper remnants on the reverse. Most impressive are the 2 theater made 9th Air Corps insignias, with one being produced in stunning bullion embroidery as well. Surely an investment grade group that rarely hits the market!
