Description
Here’s your chance to pick up a nice 6 place NSDAP ribbon bar. This example is actually two three place ribbon bars sewn together. The original soldier most likely had the first Imperial trio made in the 1930’s after receiving his Hindeburg cross and the other trio is after the war started considering the KvK. This is a very clever conjoining and explains the smaller lapel style reverse pin. This would be a great ribbon bar to have on a jacket with only a small set of loops as the reverse pin is not too wide and would allow for a wider ribbon bar to be worn than usual. In good overall condition and would look great on display! The National Socialist German Workers’ Party ( Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei , abbreviated NSDAP), was a far-right political party in Germany that was active between 1920 and 1945, that created and supported the ideology of National Socialism. The Nazi Party emerged from the German nationalist, racist and populist Freikorps paramilitary culture, which fought against the communist uprisings in post-World War I Germany. Initially, Nazi political strategy focused on anti-big business, anti-bourgeois, and anti-capitalist rhetoric, although this was later downplayed to gain the support of business leaders, and in the 1930s the party’s main focus shifted to anti-Semitic and anti-Marxist themes. Adolf Hitler, the party’s leader since 1921, was appointed Chancellor of Germany by President Paul von Hindenburg on 30 January 1933. Hitler rapidly established a totalitarian regime known as the Third Reich. After the death of President Hindenburg on 2 August 1934, Hitler merged the offices of party leader, head of state and chief of government in one, taking the title of Führer und Reichskanzler . The NSDAP would control Germany until the end of the war. Free shipping ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD & I don’t charge PayPal fees like some of the other guys!
