Here we have a really nice set of awards complete in the original issue box and part of the original case. This is an earlier period example with nice finish overall. Complete with the original case, though the case is missing the lid. Also complete with the original cardboard box which the award would have been received. Box has typical signs of wear. A lovely set. The Blockade runner badge was instituted on April 1, 1941 in order to reward the ship members who participated to attempt or actually break the allied sea blockade.
