This Eastern people’s ministry summer tunic is very sharp indeed and not often seen. With the ornately designed RMBO buttons, which are removable. One button missing but should be easy to replace for the buyer. Size markings and 1943 date stamp on the interior of the button lining. BeVo style sleeve eagle which is machine sewn to the shirt. The Reich Ministry for the Occupied Eastern Territories ( Reichsministerium für die besetzten Ostgebiete or RMBO) was created by Adolf Hitler in July 1941. This ministry was created to control the vast areas captured by the Germans in Eastern Europe and Russia. It also played a part in supporting anti-Soviet groups in Central Asia.
