Description
Here’s your chance to pick up a very nice and stunning cased pair of the Order of the German Eagle. A first and second class version. 1st Class neck order is complete with ribbon, which has ties to be worn as if it is an issued example. Front side enamel is perfect with great eagle detail. Reverse side unfortunately has a chip to the enamel which suggest this is a truly worn set which is remarkable actually. 2nd Class breast star is in perfect condition with nice patina throughout. 900 silver marked on the reverse pin. Complete with a period case, which exhibits light signs of wear to the exterior. Complete with period tissue paper inside the case. Unknown black and white ribbon style cloth under the neck order ribbon. This piece has just the right amount of wear and is stunning in hand. A textbook example with great character.
