Here we have a really nice set of awards complete in the original issue box. This is a later period ball-hinge piece paired with the miniature. A lovely set with great finish remaining to both. Case shows typical signs of wear. Included is a little provenance note which was with the piece when I obtained it. Supposedly this cased set was found left behind on the SS Potsdam, which later was refurbished for British use as the SS Empire Fowey. Buy the item not the story, but curious provenance regardless on a great set.
