This beautiful cuff was returned to the US by Robert Crust who stated he took this and a pair of matching collar tabs off a dead German officer. The family is still searching for the collar tabs but if & when they are found, the lucky buyer of this rare piece of insignia will be given first refusal. All too often we hear of stories attached to the items in our hobby but in hand this one really speaks to you and does look like it was quickly torn off a uniform in the heat of battle.
