Description

Here’s your chance to own a very handsome uniform from the Third Reich customs service for the rank of a Zollassistent. A full uniform here and included is both the jacket as well as the pants. On the tunic there are some minor moth nips which appear to have been shaded with a green marker to help hide by a previous collector. You can just barely see these areas in the photos and they are very small Original machine sewn tabs and overall the insignia is in great condition with minor wear to the cufftitle. Ribbon bar loops and one set of badge loops on the breast pocket present which makes this a great example for display. The pants are in great condition with only 1 small moth hole on the lower left leg. An almost instant uniform display that would only need a few minor additions to complete. The belt and awards are not included but was added for photo purposes! An underappreciated branch of service to the Reich and still quite affordable.CLICK HERE to view more images of this item!      Zollgrenzschutz was an organization under the German Finance Ministry from 1937 to 1945. It was charged with guarding Germany’s borders, acting as a combination Border Patrol and Customs & Immigration service. It originated in the early 19th century as a tariff enforcement unit of the Prussian government. Reorganized in 1919 under the Weimar Republic following World War I, it gradually became more militarized and transformed into a paramilitary force, also due to the economic woes of blockade, inflation and the Great Depression.Free shipping ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD & I don’t charge PayPal fees like some of the other guys!
