Here is a very rare Luftwaffe Glider Pilot badge. This example is in great condition overall with nice patina present. Produced in tombak and a nice earlier example. Exhibits traits of a BSW produced piece. Surely an investment grade piece that rarely hits the market! One of the most rare of the Luftwaffe badges, the glider pilot badge was instituted on December 16, 1940. It was awarded to pilots who successfully completed the glider training course.
