Nicely gold washed buttons and complete with a Gau Leiter Einer Stelle armband. RZM tunic producer label present. This tunic has 1 set of award loops on the left breast pocket and loops for a small ribbon bar. Minor staining to the right arm sleeve, possibly ink from the period. Marked 48 on the interior lining and marked 313 on the interior of the pockets. In great condition overall and would be hard to upgrade. The Nazi Party emerged from the German nationalist, racist and populist Freikorps paramilitary culture, which fought against the communist uprisings in post-World War I Germany. Initially, Nazi political strategy focused on anti-big business, anti-bourgeois, and anti-capitalist rhetoric, although this was later downplayed to gain the support of business leaders, and in the 1930s the party’s main focus shifted to anti-Semitic and anti-Marxist themes. Adolf Hitler, the party’s leader since 1921, was appointed Chancellor of Germany by President Paul von Hindenburg on 30 January 1933. Hitler rapidly established a totalitarian regime known as the Third Reich. After the death of President Hindenburg on 2 August 1934, Hitler merged the offices of party leader, head of state and chief of government in one, taking the title of Führer und Reichskanzler.
