Here is your chance to pick up a DLV dagger. This piece has minor wear to the leather grip and scabbard throughout which does not detract from this piece. Dark patina throughout the nickel fittings. Manufactured by the firm Josef Münch from Brotterode and is maker marked on the blade. The blade has seen better days and has wear throughout with little cross grain remaining. Upper scabbard fitting is engraved “Phil”. Complete with the hanger which has some post war engraving on the metal device as well. Don’t miss out on this RARE DAGGER! The National Socialist Flyers Corps (NSFK), was a paramilitary organization of the Nazi Party that was founded in 1937 and conducted military aviation training in gliders and private airplanes. When Nazi Germany formed the Luftwaffe, many NSFK members transferred. The NSFK existed throughout WWII, but mainly performed air defense duties such as anti-aircraft service. This is a fantastic and rare historical treasure that would make a perfect addition to any Third Reich collection.
