Here is your chance to own a beautiful Imperial Russian Order of Saint Anne 2nd Class. In excellent condition overall with zero flaws. Great enamel and porcelain with zero damage. This example is maker marked ВД behind the red enamel on the top reverse portion of the cross. There is a gold hallmark “56” to the eyelet. On the other side of the eyelet is a clearly defined hallmark of scallop seashell with Greek character alpha, a French import hallmark for items made of .583 (14K) gold. Two of the embellishments between the arms have a matching Kokoshnik hallmark. Unfortunately without ribbon, but this would be a fantastic example to put on display with other items of the period. Extremely detailed and guaranteed authentic.
