There are so amazing items here I truly don’t even know where to start. First and foremost is his photo album which is jam packed with tons of great photos including the likes of both Hitler & Göring. The medal bar has the matching ribbon bar and includes a rare Italian War Merit cross decoration which is almost impossible to find held by a German. His early tombak pilot badge is a gorgeous Friedrich Linden of Lüdenscheid produced example. The bomber clasp in gold is an early buntmetal type and is an unmarked Juncker of Berlin piece. His Iron Cross 1st class is cased, and maker marked “11” under the catch for the firm of Wilhelm Deumer. The wound badge in gold is also tombak and is in the matching marked case for the official state mint of Vienna. Other awards include a Christian Lauer maker marked DRL badge in bronze along with the matching stickpin, a Pilot’s badge stickpin, his Iron Cross 2nd class, and Luftwaffe long service ribbon devices. Finally there is a wartime map of greater Germany published in 1940 and issued by the Luftwaffe.
