Here is your chance to pick up a no decal Heer M40 green camouflaged helmet. Marked Q64 and lot number DN474 both stamped to the rear inner skirt. The factory field grey finish was originally over painted in a darker green camo color to include the inner rim, over that were sprayed sections of medium green and this layer covers about 80% of the shell. Some sections of the original factory paint and the first level of camo paint are still quite visible. There are numerous scratches and abrasions, especially to the upper dome, sections of the shell as well as the inner skirt have a whitish residue in the recesses. Each side helmet pin has the green camo paint. The rear pin has lost its cap. With steel liner band system, pin washers are intact. Complete leather liner still has its drawstring and is intact with the exception of a cut at the left temple. Interesting later issue M40 camo overall and perfect for your collection!
