Here is your chance to pick up an incredible grouping that includes some German bring backs. We have the 9th Air Force fighter pilot’s grouping of Edgar C. Kiefer. This pilot, who flew 80 flight missions during the war, was extremely well decorated and received the Soldier’s Medal for saving a guy that had his leg blown off in a minefield while souvenir hunting. Additionally, there are two signed flags here, one of which is shown in a period photograph of Ed holding this exact flag (prior to being signed) This is one of the most complete groupings that I have ever seen and by far the best that I have come across. It even includes the original camera he took that was on the nose of his plane during the war. Everything here is named and I myself purchased the grouping from the Veteran’s son (who himself did not have any children) There are TWO signed flags in this grouping. The Veteran’s wife painstakingly stitched over the names on the one flag to help preserve it’s legacy. Everything you see in the photos is included in this spectacular opportunity.
