A fantastic example of a Deschler marked SS FM donation stickpin. Correct knurled pin and numbered reverse with excellent enamel. A membership pin for individuals who did not join the SS for active duty but instead contributed to it financially. The SS-FM was organized by the SS Wirtschafts-und Verwaltungshauptamt (SS Economic and Administrative Department) in 1926. Members made monthly payments towards the work of the SS at their local SS headquarters. Each member was issued with a lapel pin and a membership/receipt book. From April 1934, members also received a monthly magazine, the FM-Zeitschrift. By 1939, circulation was approximately 365,000, but very few copies of this magazine survive today. Nickle plated tombak, 20 x 15 mm, marked: E 16873 Ges. Gesch Deschler Mchn. 9; 45 mm knurled pin, a very nice original, light to moderate wear.
