Here is your chance to pick up a nice Krim shield. This one has a nice patina to it and is likely an issued example as there are perimeter stitch holes remaining and visible on the reverse paper backing. Would display great with other items from the period! This item was brought back by Dominick Lantello, 559th Ordinance, Heavy Maintenance. Held the rank of a Tec 4, and landed in Normandy on June 7th. He continued service in Europe until December 1945.   The Krim, or Crimea Shield, was a decoration awarded to military personnel under the command of Generalfeldmarschall Erich von Manstein who fought against Soviet Red Army forces and captured the Crimea region between September 21, 1941 and July 4, 1942. The award was instituted on July 25, 1942. Overall, this is a beautiful and unused example that would make a perfect addition to any collection.   Free shipping ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD & I don’t charge PayPal fees like some of the other guys!
