Service used example having a woven label with the initials JM, constructed of fine quality police green wool, having a dark brown badge cloth color with carmine colored wool piping along the lower edges, being double breasted and having two flapped angled hip pockets, turn back cuffs, adjustable rear waist belt and with a hemmed skirt having a vented rear, lining is green colored ribbed rayon and there is one internal breast pocket, all buttons are pebbled silver aluminum, the sewn in shoulder boards have silver aluminum braid with black Vs on the outer edge and black center braid with two silver aluminum rank pips and carmine pink underlay, the tip of one shoulder board is frayed, coat with some wear and age and some minor mothing at the right rear elbow.
